MSRC is seeking an energetic and resourceful Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Herndon, VA. This is a hybrid position reporting directly to the HR Director. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be a vital member of our professional team, leading various human resources initiatives throughout our nationwide organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive human resources support to the corporate employee group.
- Administer corporate HR programs, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, benefit management, and other related activities.
- Create engaging employee communications to inform and educate staff members.
- Monitor compliance with employment laws and regulations, updating policies and procedures as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with the HRIS function and provide back-up support as needed.
- Participate in additional projects as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field, with a minimum of five years of progressive human resources experience.
- Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to form effective relationships with individuals at all levels.
- Strong communication skills, with proven experience in written employee communications.
- Excellent organizational abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Working knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and procedures.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, employee file management, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- HR certification is considered an advantage.
